Privacy policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

This policy explains what information is handled when you visit this website, and what your choices are. We have tried to keep it short, because we have tried to collect almost nothing.

1. Who we are

Lateral, LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, United States, with its registered address at 151 Calle de San Francisco, San Juan, PR 00901-1508 ("lifeOS", "we", "us"), operates this website and is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at privacy@lifeos.guide.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers this marketing website only. The lifeOS product is delivered as a private, single-tenant deployment under a separate written agreement with each customer; the handling of data inside a deployment is governed by that agreement, not by this policy.

3. What we collect — and what we don't

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no trackers or advertising technology, and has no forms or accounts. We do not build profiles of visitors. That leaves three limited categories of processing:

  • Hosting logs. The site is served by Vercel Inc. (USA). Like any web host, Vercel processes technical request data — your IP address, browser user agent, and the pages requested — in server logs, used for delivery, security, and abuse prevention.
  • Font delivery. One typeface (Satoshi) is served from the Fontshare content delivery network operated by the Indian Type Foundry. When your browser fetches those font files, your IP address and user agent are transmitted to Fontshare's servers to complete the request. Our other typeface is self-hosted and involves no third party.
  • Email you send us. If you contact us (for example to book a demo), we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and we use it to respond and to follow up about your inquiry.

4. Why we process it (legal bases)

Where EU or UK data protection law applies, our legal bases are: legitimate interests (operating, securing, and delivering the website; responding to correspondence), steps prior to entering a contract (when you contact us about becoming a customer), consent (where we ever ask for it), and legal obligations (where retention or disclosure is required by law).

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information is disclosed only to:

  • service providers who help us operate (website hosting, email), acting under our instructions;
  • the font delivery network described above, as a technical consequence of serving the site;
  • authorities or advisers where required by law, to enforce our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction (in which case this policy continues to apply until amended).

6. International transfers

This website is hosted in the United States. If you visit from the EEA, the UK, or elsewhere, the technical data described above is processed in the United States and possibly other countries via our providers. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision, as implemented by our providers.

7. How long we keep it

Hosting logs are retained for the short periods set by our hosting provider's standard configuration. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any relationship that follows, then deleted or archived per our retention practices.

8. Your rights — EEA and UK

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of, or restriction of the processing of your personal data; the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests; and the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). To exercise any right, email privacy@lifeos.guide; we may need to verify your identity before acting.

9. Your rights — California and other US states

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. Residents of other US states with comparable privacy laws have similar rights. To exercise them, email privacy@lifeos.guide.

10. Children

This website is directed at professionals and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

11. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because we do not track visitors, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off — the site already behaves as if every visitor had sent one.

12. Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS with a strict content security policy and related hardening headers. No visitor data is stored by the site itself. To report a security concern, see security.txt or email security@lifeos.guide.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated date. If we ever begin collecting materially more than described above — for example, adding analytics or a contact form — we will update this policy first.
